    Cycling For A Cause

    On March 29th, The Walker Group will compete in a Charity Cycling Challenge where they will spend the day putting the pedal to the metal on spin bikes to raise money for two phenomenal charities of their choice. Funds raised will be split evenly among Closer to Free- the charitable arm of Smilow Cancer Center at Yale New Haven Hospital- and The Special Olympics. Why these two?     Lending a Helping Hand

    Walker volunteers at the CT Food Bank to help organize donations for local families affected by the hurricane. This week two Walker employees,  Bonny MacInnis and Melissa Bryers, volunteered their time at the CT Food Bank to help sort through items that could be given to families affected by the hurricane. The food bank is located in the New Haven area, a county severely impacted by the hurricane, and they needed assistance sorting through donations to ensure all perishable food went to a needy family as quickly as possible.
