Account Manager

Summary

The Account Manager is responsible for developing our clients into partners who turn to us for all of their technology needs.  You are the primary point of contact for all client needs and concerns and work to turn them into Walker ambassadors.

 

Responsibilities

  • Develop a deep understand of the client’s business needs and opportunities with an eye toward involvement at different levels, particularly at the C-level
  • Build and maintain superior relationships with key decision makers, while cultivating partnerships for long term sales
  • Understand and increase our percentage of the clients’ technology budget by selling additional services
  • Act as the key client resources to respond effectively to all requests
  • Provide transition and crises management as needed for a client
  • Engage at the community level to increase our exposure to potential new clients

Qualifications

  • 3 plus years successful corporate business to business sales experience
  • Bachelor’s Degree of equivalent experience
  • Experience and expertise in technology services and account management
  • Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
  • Strong listening skills with an ability to uncover needs and identify opportunities
  • Self-starter, motivated, assertive and organized
  • Fast-paced, able to manage well in interrupt mode
  • Initiative and drive – comfortable making strategic recommendations
  • Working knowledge and understanding of Microsoft Office Products and CRM systems
